Inspired by Nature

My art is a collection of beauty and sparkle. My name is Anita Vega, I am a federally recognized tribal member of the Cloverdale Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians. As an Artist I love and appreciate all types of media. I love to create captivating visuals, these can be with the wall hangings, the dream catchers, or the earrings and necklaces which I create.

I love to go back to nature to ask for inspiration to be given through the materials gathered with blessings or through the colors you see while appreciating the beauty from our Mother Earth; She offers everyday beauty if we just must remember to look and see it.

My dream is to present and promote indigenous representation of art and craft to continue to remain inspiring and created with native hands. I would like to expand someday, possibly looking at indigenous fashion as another area of growth.
